Micro Macro

This was a drawing class project where we had to draw two pictures (a diptych) of anything under a microscope. 

I draw creatures better than patterns, so I chose these two weird organisms I found on Google images. I liked how the one on the left has big, bug-like "eyes" and the one on the right looks like a horror movie monster (Sarlac pit, anyone?). 

Both are done in charcoal on 19 x 19 in paper, each one took approx. 6 hours.
